Max’s Sesame Street 1st Birthday Party

This Sesame Street party was submitted to me by Lisa.   The party was to celebrate her son Max’s 1st birthday.   The decorations, table decor and birthday cake were amazing.   The photo above features the cake, party favor bags, cupcakes, decorations and treats.    Lisa made the name sign herself.  She purchased the letters at Joann Fabrics and then painted them.  The table is embellished with a banner, balloons, photos of  the birthday boy, Sesame Street inspired pom pom decorations and a theme table cover.

Lisa’s husband made this fabulous Sesame Street inspired sign for the party.   All of the materials used to make this sign were purchased at the Home Depot and Walmart and cost less than $20!   This included the wood and spray paint.  The sign was accented with balloons and the text “1 Max Street.”  I love it!

This pinata is absolutely adorable!  Just like the decoration above it features the text “1 Max Street”.  I love the creativity.  And of course Max is wearing a super sweet Elmo shirt.

This Cookie Monster marshmallow pop was one of the delicious sweets served during the birthday party.   The marshmallow pops along with the cake and cupcakes pictured below were made by one of Lisa’s friends.   Other desserts included cake pops, pretzel rods and Chamoy apples.  Chamoy apples are similar to caramel apples, but instead of caramel they are coated with chamoy powder and a Mexican candy called tamarindo.

This is a close up photo of the beautiful cakes and cupcakes.   The cake and cupcakes feature Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Elmo.

Lisa also hired an Elmo entertainer for the party.  Elmo sang and danced with the kids.  Everyone had a great time!
