Here is how they work:
1. Your cake should be ready to go and freshly frosted. Buttercream icing is recommended, but any icing (even a frozen ice cream cake) will work.
2. Carefully remove it from it’s packaging. Gently remove the image from the bag. Be sure to only remove the image when you are ready to use it.
3. Make sure your icing is not dry and is still fresh and moist. If not, provide a fine mist of water. Starting with the corner, gently peel the image from the wax paper backing.
4. Carefully apply the image to the cake. Make sure your hands are dry and nothing wet touches the printed side of the image. Gently smooth out any wrinkles.
5. Add any further decorations, such as borders and candles.
