Sponge Bob Square Pants!

Who doesn’t love SpongeBob?  He is funy, quirky, silly, and thoughtful…well,  just an all around nice guy!  If your child is a big fan , then a SpongeBob birthday would make a terrific party theme for their next celebration.  

There are currently two different SpongeBob partyware designs available on the market.  One is the SpongeBob Classic design which features SpongeBob in all of his wackiness.  Then, there is the SpongeBob Buddies design which features SpongeBob with his best bud, Patrick.  Both of these party packs come with tableware, plates, utensils, balloons, curling ribbon, streamers and invitations.  There are additional items you can add to your party pack that are sold ala carte.

Your guests are sure to work up an appetite in their under the sea adventure and here are some great birthday cake ideas! There is a SpongeBob Squarepants specialty cake pan available.  It comes with complete design instructions.  Or, if you want to try something easier, you can purchase the SpongeBob bendy cake kit, mini cake toppers, or edible cake decorations to top your home baked cake or cupcakes.  

For a fun party craft, you can stick with the under the sea theme.  There are so many great projects to chose from including: By the Sea Door Hanger, 3-D Under the Sea Mobile, Seashell Paperweights, Sea Life Coloring Bags, Wavy  Sand Art Bottles and more.  You could also print out SpongeBob Squarepants coloring pages online and have on the tables for the kids to color. 

Now it is time for the party activities!  What is a SpongeBob party without bubbles?  If you are having an outdoor birthday party, you could purchase a Party Bubble Machine for a constant stream of bubbles.   The kids will love it!  Other great party ideas include a bubble blowing contest, seashell hunt, and Krabbie patty race.   There are also licensed SpongeBob toys on the market that would make perfect party activities and can provide hours of fun after the party for your child as well.   Some of the games are Slam Dunk Basketball, Hot Shot Basketball, and Tiki Time Playland.

After the party, send the guests home with unique party favors.  You can order personalized candy wrappers and other supplies, mini pinata favors, chocolate lollipop favors, cookie pops, and hand decorated color-a-cookies.  If you are on a budget, there are many wholesale party favors available such as pencils, stampers, photo albums, metal lunchboxes, stickers, kites, markers and more.
