Another Super Why party decorating idea would be to incorporate the show’s glittery red ‘Super Letters’ into your decor.   You could make your own letters or purchase cardboard letters to decorate.  Color or paint the letters red and embellish with glitter.  Then hang them around the party room.

Since reading is the main concept of the show, Super Why books would also make a great party favor.   There are many titles to choose from.  Books make wonderful standalone party favors.   Simply wrap the book in colorful cellophane, attach a few candies and tie with curling ribbon.

Baking Party

Angelina and Brad Host a Go Kart Party for Maddox

Angelina and Brad hosted a ninth birthday party for son Maddox at Go Kart World .   Go Cart World is located in Carson, C.A. just south of Los Angeles.  Maddox’s siblings Pax, Sahara and Shiloh were in attendence plus about two dozen other children. 

Brad and Angie rented the whole park, and it was closed down to the public to make sure that Maddox and his friends would be able to have a fun party in private.    Maddox even had a personalized birthday cake for his big day!

Chuggington Birthday Party

My son’s favorite show lately is Chuggington.  He just loves it!  If your child is a fan of this show, a Chuggington party would make the perfect theme for their next birthday celebration.

You can start off your birthday party planning by purchasing a personalized Chuggington invitationon Ebay.  There are many fun designs to choose from including photo invites, trendy ticket style invitations and more.  The Chuggington invitation pictured here is courtesy of Ebay seller E. There has not been any official Chuggington party supplies released yet.   Therefore, for your partyware, I would suggest incorporating a combination of solid red, blue, yellow and green colors for your tableware and decorations.   These are the prominent colors of the show, so I think that would work perfectly.   There is also a Train Party Pack  and
Two-Two Train partyware available  that also features these same colors.  I think incorporating some of the items from these party packs would help to pull the theme together nicely.

You can find a large selection of  Chuggington party favors on Ebay including candy wrappers, buttons, placemats and more.  You could also include some  train items in your favor boxes such as a conductor’s hat, wooden train whistle, train cup with straw, etc.  Place all your Chuggington party favors in a cute train party favor box.  You could purchase the Chuggington envelope seals mentioned above and have them personalized with a thank you message.  Matte the sticker onto cardstock and attach it to your train party favor boxes. 

Another party idea would be to purchase train cookie cutters and train candy molds to make chocolate lollipops, jello jigglers and cookies. 

Ebay seller Birthday Baskets offers a fun Chuggington party pack for 8 guests.  The party pack comes with personalized invitations, plates, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, tablecover, Chuggington lollipop centerpiece, balloons, curling ribbon, crepe paper rolls, confetti, Chuggington party favor tubes and cake candles.   The Chuggington party pack also includes a party ideas list for food to serve, games to play, and other decorating ideas to make your party one of a kind. 

For a fun Chuggington birthday party activity, you could purchase a
Train pinata and decorate it with Chuggington images.  Another idea would be to play ‘Pin the Train’ game by purchasing a Chuggington Poster Book.  This book comes with a giant Chuggington poster that you can incorporate into your party game.  

You could also assign each of the party guests to be one of the Chuggers.  Print out a picture of each Chugger, punch two holes into the top and attach it to string.   Give each child their Chugger “necklace” with their assigned train, a conductor’s hat & train whistle.  (they can take these items home as party favors).  Then, you can be Vee and assign each of the Chuggers little jobs to do.  Be creative!

I just received an email from one of my favorite Ebay sellers, Tony Photo Balloons, and saw these awesome Justin Bieber balloons.  Each order comes with six 12″ latex balloons which are printed on both sides.  You can even choose the colors you want for your balloons to coordinate with your birthday party decor.

Another custom Justin Bieber party decoration available on Ebay include Personalized Birthday Banners.   There is even the Justin Bieber banner pictured below from Ebay seller Demea Printing Custom Vinyl Banners that allows you to add your own photos.  This is a great way to personalize your daughter’s birthday party!  After the party, she can hang this cool Justin Bieber banner in her bedroom.

  • Bingo:  Purchase a custom Phineas and Ferb bingo gameon Ebay.
  • Pinata:  Purchase a custom Phineas and Ferb pinataon Ebay for a fun party activity.
  • Karaoke:  Have the party guests sing and dance to the popular Phineas and Ferb songs .
  • Phineas and Ferb’s Invention Center:  Set up a work area with different sized boxes, pipe cleaners, buttons, paper towel tubes, wood craft sticks, clean used plastic bottles & containers, markers, glue and whatever else you have available.  The party guests can build and make their own unique inventions and creations.
  • Secret Agent Games:  The birthday party guests will be just like Perry when they play these secret agent party activities.   You can tailor the activities to the Phineas and Ferb show. 
  • Pin the Heart on Candace:   Since Candace is love struck by Jeremy in the show, you could print out images of both of these characters and attach them to poster board.  (you can have the images enlarged to 11 x 14 at your local Staples.)  You can even have your child help you decorate the board.  Then, print out hearts for each of the party guests and mark a spot on the board where the heart has to go.  The person closest wins.  Another idea would be to print out a picture of Perry and play ‘Pin the Tail on Perry the Platypus’. 
  • Perry the Platypus Toss:  Find a large box and have your child decorate it to look like the government secret agency by attaching Perry, O.W.C.A. and  Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz images.   Then, use a stuffed Perry toy or Platypus stuffed animal for the kids to toss into the secret agency.
  • Classic Party Games:  Play musical chairs or hot potato to Phineas and Ferb songs.

Ramona and Beezus Movie Party

Ramona and Beezus is scheduled to hit theaters on July 23rd.  If you are planning a Ramona and Beezus Movie Party for your child, I just came across these terrific personalized Ramona and Beezus invitations on Ebay.

They are VIP Pass invites and would be perfect to hand out to the birthday party guests.   The kids can then bring their badges to the movie theater on the day of the  movie party.  Other Ramona and Beezus invitations include trendy ticket style invites.  These would also be great for your movie party.

For your Ramona and Beezus party favors, I found these cute  handprint favor boxes  that would go wonderfully with the theme of the movie.   You could fill the favor boxes with classic movie theater candy and microwavable popcorn.   You can also purchase custom movie night party favors and Selena Gomez candy favors on Ebay for your favor boxes.  If you want to create your own thank you tags,  print out Ramona and Beezus movie images and matte onto cardstock.   Punch a hole into the finished tag and attach it to the party favor boxes with curling ribbon.

Another party favor idea would be to purchase the Ramona and Beezus movie book for the birthday guests.   This would make a nice standalone party favor.  Simply wrap the book in colorful cellophane and attach a thank you card. For your Ramona and Beezus birthday cake, you could purchase an edible Ramona and Beezus cake topper on Ebay.  This cake topper can even be personalized with your child’s name.

If your daughter is a big Selena Gomez fan, you could purchase a Selena Gomez edible cake topper on Ebay and apply it to your home baked birthday cake.   Then top the finished cake with a Ramona and Beezus movie image to pull the party theme together.   Simply matte the image to cardstock, attach to a lollipop stick and insert into your cake.
